Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Yala
Be transferred from your accommodation in Tangalle to your marvellous new home for the next two nights. This afternoon, embark on an incredible game drive through Yala National Park guided by local expert rangers. Yala is home to the world’s most dense population of leopards, while sloth bears and Asian elephants are among the other incredible wildlife which call the park home. Keep your eyes peeled for those big three mammals alongside spotted deer, mugger crocodiles, boars, buffaloes, langurs and more than 200 species of birds including spectacular peacocks. Following your game drive, return to your hotel where dinner awaits.
Day 2: Yala
Rise early this morning before setting out for another game drive on the lookout for more wildlife, accompanied by an expert local trekker. Return to your hotel for a mid-morning breakfast, then relax at your leisure this afternoon as you soak in the luxurious facilities before dinner tonight.
Day 3: Depart Yala
Your tour extension comes to an end today after breakfast, when you’ll be transferred to Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight.
